Did you know: The original ice cream sandwich sold for a penny in 1900 from a street pushcart in New York. Soon, pushcarts popped up all around during the summer months selling the portable, refreshing treats. The first ice cream sandwiches were made with ice cream and two treats: from biscuits to angel food to sponge cake to shortbread. While all of that sounds amazing, an ice cream sandwich with two Tiff’s cookies might be… dare we say… way better!
