It’s Friday the 13th and we decided to do a little switcheroo in honor of Freaky Friday and National Kids Take Over The Kitchen Day! Can you spot the difference?? Tiff and Leon’s twins, Tristan and Taylor, took over the kitchen and showed the world how to make one of their favorite dessert recipes: Dirt and Worms! And to put it in their own words, “Kids are really better at this baking stuff!”
Follow along with Tristan and Taylor for their Dirt and Worms recipe!
Ingredients:
-
Oreos
-
Chocolate Pudding Mix
-
Whipped Cream
-
Gummy Worms
Directions
-
Make the dirt! Crush the Oreos into small pieces. Tristan and Taylor like to put the Oreos in a Ziplock bag and crush away with the bottom of some measuring cups. Viola!
-
Make the pudding! It’s probably best to follow the instructions of whatever pudding mix you buy ;)
-
Whisk it real good!
-
Add a BIG spoon of whipped cream to the pudding (and then maybe add another?!)
-
Assemble your dessert cup! Add the dirt first, then alternate with the dirt and pudding. Tristan has the perfect strategy for getting the pudding in the cup.
-
Add your worms! There’s no such thing as too much.
What would you make if you got to take over the kitchen for a day?! Maybe this Friday the 13th is the sign you’ve been waiting for. However you celebrate, keep it a little freaky and a whole lot of sweet!
