We were delighted to partner with Austin Pets Alive! and the SPCA of Texas in Dallas for a day filled with cookie deliveries, adorable pups, and heartfelt moments.
“Olympia” delivers smiles and hope in Austin, TX!
In Austin, we had the pleasure of being joined by
Olympia, a charming boxer mix available for foster and adoption through Austin Pets Alive! Olympia, with her friendly demeanor and wagging tail, brought an extra touch of warmth to our cookie deliveries. Her presence was a delightful surprise for everyone who received cookies, and it was clear that she made a memorable impression. Olympia is a new mother to four precious puppies, who are also available for adoption. It was a joy to witness Olympia’s loving nature as she truly welcomed everyone we came into contact with.
History of Austin Pets Alive!
Austin Pets Alive! is a nonprofit organization dedicated to saving the lives of at-risk animals in the Austin area. Founded in 1997, the organization was instrumental in turning Austin into a no-kill city. They provide innovative programs and services, including medical care, behavioral training, and foster and adoption programs, to ensure that every animal gets a second chance at a loving home. Their work is driven by a commitment to ending euthanasia in shelters and promoting animal welfare throughout the community.
“Rose” and “Ruth” deliver double the warmth in Dallas, TX!
In Dallas, Rose and Ruth joined us for the day’s deliveries. These tiny survivors were found outside an abandoned house when they were under a week old. Thanks to the dedication of their SPCA caregivers, they have grown into happy, healthy 8-week-olds, now
ready for adoption this week. Their cuteness was a highlight of our Dallas deliveries, bringing smiles and cheer to everyone we visited. Their story, as well as the dedication of SPCA is a testament to why celebrating National Dog Day alongside these partners means so much to us at Tiff’s Treats.

The SPCA of Texas, established in 1938, is a nonprofit organization committed to promoting animal welfare and preventing animal cruelty across Texas. They provide various services, including rescue, adoption, veterinary care, and educational programs. With a mission to improve the lives of animals and strengthen the bond between people and pets, the SPCA of Texas operates shelters, outreach programs, and advocacy efforts to ensure a better future for animals in their community.
A National Dog Day to remember!
Although we were unable to fulfill all the requests for dog deliveries, we are incredibly thankful for the opportunity to surprise a few special places with warm cookies and the warm presence of an adoptable pup. The chance to bring a little extra joy to these places was a heartwarming experience for all involved.
We are profoundly grateful for the hard work and dedication of Austin Pets Alive! and the SPCA of Texas. Spending time at both shelters allowed us to see firsthand the incredible thought, care, and effort that go into every aspect of their mission to provide safe and loving homes for pets in need. The compassion and commitment of their staff are truly inspiring.
While we love the happiness our cookies bring, it pales in comparison to the fulfillment we feel partnering with organizations that make such a significant impact in our community. Our $5,000 donation towards their efforts to clear the shelters this month is a small token of our appreciation and support for their remarkable work.
