Supporting Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

September 02, 2024

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and Tiff’s Treats is honored to support our Corporate Charity Partner, Connor Man, a family partner of The ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation. This month, Tiff’s will donate $25,000 from sales of the Connor Man Brookie to fund research for pediatric brain cancer.

Our Superhero, Connor Olympia

Connor Olympia was diagnosed with a rare form of pediatric brain cancer known as DIPG at just four years old. Despite his young age and the gravity of his condition, Connor’s spirit and bravery served as an inspiration to all who knew him. His journey profoundly affected his family, prompting his parents, Alexis and Peter Olympia, to become ardent advocates for DIPG awareness and research.

In honor of their son, the Olympia family established The Connor Man Foundation, channeling their efforts into supporting groundbreaking research and improving treatments for this devastating disease as a family partner of the ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation. Connor’s legacy continues to inspire and mobilize support, highlighting the urgent need for advancements in DIPG research.

Connor Man and The ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation

Through the ChadTough Family Partner program, families support this critical mission, dedicated to advancing research for DIPG. Named in memory of their beloved son, Connor Man was started by Alexis and Peter Olympia to honor Connor’s courageous battle with DIPG. His story has become a beacon of hope and a rallying point for those striving to combat pediatric brain cancer.

“The Amazing Connor Man showed us the meaning of unconditional love, and he will always and forever be our hero and our inspiration. We are determined to find a cure for the cruel disease that took our precious little boy from us too soon and to give hope to children and their families in the future. Because all of our children deserve better. Connor Man is LIGHT. He is HOPE. Our Connor Man is LOVE.” – The Olympia Family

Tiff’s Treats’ Connor Man Brookie

In Connor’s honor, we have created a special treat called the “Brookie,” combining his favorite desserts: sugar cookies with M&M's®, brownies, and M&M's® sprinkled on top. Available throughout September, this treat serves as a tribute to Connor. $25,000 from sales of the Connor Man Brookie will be donated to fund pediatric brain cancer research.

Through our collaboration with Connor Man, Tiff’s Treats® is proud to contribute to a larger movement for meaningful change. By participating in various give-back initiatives, we aim to honor Connor’s memory and support a cause that affects countless families. Our collective efforts highlight the impact we can make when united by a shared purpose: advancing research, enhancing treatments, and ultimately finding a cure for DIPG. We invite everyone to join us in supporting this vital mission, working towards a future where no child has to endure the challenges of this heartbreaking disease.
